Developed a mobile equipment inventory template, performed a desktop review of an inventory of off-road and on-road equipment, and portable generators; and an assessment of the inventory to determine if the equipment was in compliance with applicable California Air Resources Board (ARB) and South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) regulations at a large transit agency in Southern California. The scope of work included:
- Development of an inventory template (Microsoft Excel) for which Client’s staff can utilize to inventory applicable equipment into (3) categories – off-road construction equipment (≥25 BHP), on-road construction equipment (GVWR>14,000 lbs), and portable generators (≥50 BHP).
- Evaluation of the compliance status of the equipment with key provisions in the following rules and regulations,
- Title 13, CCR §2449, General Requirements for In-Use Off-Road Diesel-Fueled Fleets.
- Title 13, CCR §2025, Regulation to Reduce Emissions of Diesel Particulate Matter, Oxides of Nitrogen and Other Criteria Pollutants, from In-Use Heavy-Duty Diesel-Fueled Vehicles.
- Title 13, CCR, §2020 – 2022, Diesel Particulate Control Measures.
- Title 17, CCR §93116, Airborne Toxic Control Measure for Diesel Particulate Matter from Portable Engines Rated at 50 Horsepower and Greater.
- SCAQMD Rule 1110.2, Emissions from Gaseous and Liquid Fueled Engines.
