Developed a comprehensive compliance matrix outlining applicable federal and state environmental regulatory requirements for each state in which the landscaping company operates. The matrix detailed required permits, plans, reports, and training obligations across key program areas, including hazardous waste, hazardous materials, stormwater, aboveground and underground storage tanks (ASTs/USTs), and mobile source air emissions. In addition, the following tools were created to support ongoing compliance efforts:
- Environmental Compliance Calendar: Identified recurring deadlines and key compliance milestones for each regulatory program.
- Compliance Program Questionnaire: Designed a checklist-style tool with targeted questions to help identify, document, and verify local regulatory requirements.
- EH&S Software Demonstrations: Coordinated and facilitated one-hour demonstrations of three different environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) compliance software platforms to support Brightview in selecting a solution that best meets their compliance management needs.
