Design-Build Construction Project Environmental Compliance Support

Developed plans for a major design-build project along the I-405 corridor. The project included improvements to the pavement on mainline and ramps, roadside safety, transportation management systems, new Park and Ride facility and rehabilitation of lighting and roadside items. The project limits extend on the I-405 for approximately 11.2 miles between I-5 and Harbor Boulevard. The team developed the following plans during the design phase of the project:
- Aerially Deposited Lead Soil Management Plan.
- Spill Containment and Countermeasure Plan.
- Asbestos Control Management Plan.
In addition, we will be providing field oversight during the construction phase of the project to ensure lead-impacted soil and asbestos-containing materials are managed in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. And we will be performing fugitive dust monitoring in compliance with SCAQMD Rule 1466, field staff training, and required reporting during the project.
